Ok let me start off with saying I live in New York, also known as the diamond district of the world. I was searching for a diamond for approximately a month and couldn�t find the diamond specifications for the budget I had. I got frustrated and turned to the internet when I came across Buy Diamond Direct. I was skeptical of purchasing something of that value with out first seeing it just like all the other testimonials listed here. Roni explained to me the differences GIA and EGL ratings. He spent very long with me on the phone (on more then one occasion) and never became pushy. My husband and I were looking to upsize the diamond in the ring I've had for many years. We did a lot of internet research, and I looked in several jewelry stores to get a feel for the size that I felt comfortable with. The stores and salespeople can not compare with dealing with Ron. I called him so many times, just to discuss what I was thinking about doing and to get his opinion on the differece between GIA and others, in terms of how they grade diamonds. He was always most patient, not at all pushy and kept telling me that he would be happy to bring in whatever diamond I wanted to see. I told him that I wanted to drive over and see the diamond when it arrived, so when I finally found the one I think I wanted, I went over, met with Ron and Denny and looked at the diamond. I decided it was perfect for me, so we went ahead and arranged for the wire transfer. I then had the diamond set in my original ring, which Ron arranged for me, and had my old diamond put into a pendant. The entire experience was very professional. I did a lot of shopping online and right before I decided to buy a diamond from an online wholesaler , I found the same diamond on buydiamonddirect for 200 dollars cheaper ( same GIA certificate) diamond was great exactly as ron described it , well cut , very brilliant, and every jewelery store I went to charges at LEAST double the price for the same diamond.
